FCW has TWO PROGRAMS

PROGRAM 1. is where WWE PAYS YOU  hires you and gives you a "Development contract" and pays you. They only do this after you have had 2 or more years experience.  This is great.

PROGRAM 2. is where YOU PAY FCW. This is terrible and ranks 0%

It is just a way for them to get extra money out of marks. 

FCW is the latest in a series of schools (all prior schools were fired by WWE) that has been given a contract with WWE to fullfill the functions that a farm team does for Baseball.

The politics in WWE and WWE schools have been vicious and there have already been rumors in the Wrestling blogs of infighting and of WWE's dissatisfaction. We don't know if they are true, but if they are, you are liable to join and pay and be out in short order.

WWE needs backup wrestlers to move up to Raw and SmackDown and ECW when some one gets hurt or needs practice or gets fired. F C W fills this function by running shows where the backup wrestlers can practice and keep sharp.

F C W ALSO runs a school for beginners and though they imply the students will have a shot at WWE that is not true for several reasons:

School will run 2 days a week in the evenings (Mondays and Wednesdays)

1. F C W trains beginners ONLY TWO to FOUR hours per week. That is not enough training and is REDICULOUS.

Unless you are trained at least four three hour sessions per week you are wasting your time.

3. FCW suggests that their beginning students go on to WWE. That's not true.

4. Not one single FCW school beginner ever went to WWE. The ones that do go to WWE were first hired by WWE and sent to FCW to practice.

5. FCW TRAINERS ARE OLD SCHOOL: To them, you are just another mark.

6. UNREASONABLE PRICE: OVW charges $1200 for 26 weeks. Sounds real good at first, except that you only get 2 - 4 hours of training so their price really would equal $3000 to $6,000 if you were to go 4 days a week for a year, and that is way too high.

6. F C W says you will be SEEN by WWE people. That is the WORST thing that can happen to you. You NEVER want to be seen until you are terrific. Otherwise they will think you are just another loser.

7. JOBS The Tampa area has the highest unemployment in Florida and is much higher than the US. Jobs may not be easy to find.

8. TRYOUTS:   FCW has recently run "try outs" for WWE. They have charged $1000 per person and drew lots of candidates. As of this date, no one in these tryouts has been hired by WWE.  It appears that it may be the same type of fast buck deal that was practiced in OVW and Deep South.
