This may have been an acceptable school at some time in the past.
However, like most businesses that carry the name of super stars, the super star is rarely ever there, and the Big Name serves one main purpose, namely to allow the operator of the business to charge an enormous price.
We have had several ex students contact us to complain that they payed huge prices ( between $8000 and $13,000 ) and they were never trained by Michaels. Instead they were trained by a "nameless person" who taught them very little and himself was very lazy and uninspired.
The problem is that when you pay an enormous amount up front, or sign a contract to pay over time, you are totally screwed if you don't like it. They either already have your money and won't return it, of they have sold your contract to a company like General Electric credit, and you are going to have to pay them whether you like it or not.
According to recent reports Shaw Michaels no longer is associated with this school but the name is being used by others to attract students
